【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구행복진흥원(원장 정순천)은 대구여성탐방로 ‘반지길’ 탐방 참여자를 선착순 모집한다고 21일 밝혔다.
‘반지길’이란 탐방로의 시작과 끝이 만나는 반지 모양의 둥근 길로, 국채보상운동이 일어나자 은반지와 패물을 기부했던 우리나라 최초의 근대 여성조직 ‘남일동 패물폐지부인회’의 정신을 되살려 이름 붙인 길이다.
주요 장소는 청라언덕에서 시작해 3.1만세운동길, 이상정고택, 계산성당, 종로, 진골목 등이다.
‘반지길’에는 잘 알려지지 않은 진취적이고 다양한 대구 여성들의 이야기가 담겨 있다.
3.1운동을 이끌었던 여성 독립운동가 임봉선, 이선애, 하와이에서 독립운동을 펼쳤던 이희경, 대구 최초 여자 초등학교 설립자 마르다 브루엔, 영남지역 최초 여성 성악가 추애경, 기생에서 여성운동가로 변신해 활약한 정칠성, 영화 ‘밀정’ 연계순의 모델이 된 기생 출신 독립운동가 현계옥, 우리나라 최초의 여성 영화감독 박남옥 등 시간 속에 켜켜이 묻힌 여성들의 삶을 끄집어내 들려준다.
‘반지길’ 투어 소요시간은 2시간(1시간, 1시간 30분 선택 가능)으로, 전문 해설사의 풍부한 해설과 책자, 기념품이 제공되며 무료로 진행된다. 2인 이상 온라인을 통해 신청이 가능하다.
