【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구광역시행복진흥사회서비스원(원장 배기철) 대구광역시청소년활동진흥센터가 ‘2024년 제26회 대구청소년자원봉사대회’ 신청 접수를 받는다.
대구청소년자원봉사대회는 지역사회 발전에 기여한 청소년자원봉사자와 지도자를 격려해 청소년자원봉사 참여 문화를 확산하기 위해 마련된 행사로 꾸준히 봉사활동을 펼쳐온 청소년과 지도자를 대상으로 신청을 받아 심사, 선정한다.
지난해 1월 1일부터 올해 7월 31일 사이 봉사활동 경력이 있는 9세 ∼ 24세 청소년은 참가할 수 있다.
봉사경력을 중심으로 기록하는 활동부문(개인·동아리), 인상 깊은 봉사활동의 ‘체험수기’나 ‘영상기록(숏폼)’을 제출하는 작품부문에 각각 신청이 가능하다.
신청 기간은 9월 19일까지로 서류심사 후 오는 11월 9일 시상식을 개최할 예정이다.
우수 자원봉사자에게 여성가족부장관상, 대구광역시장상, 대구광역시교육감상 등 총 28점을 시상한다.
대구광역시행복진흥사회서비스원 배기철 원장은 “자원봉사는 청소년의 자아존중감, 책임감, 진로 경험 등을 키워주고, 공공의 이익을 위해 노력해 보면서 공동체 의식과 시민 의식을 향상시키는 중요한 활동”이라며, “우리 지역 청소년들이 자원봉사의 의미를 되새기고, 더 나아가 대구 시민의 행복이 증진되는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 전했다.

The Daegu Youth Volunteer Competition is an event designed to encourage youth volunteers and leaders who have contributed to the development of the local community and to spread the culture of youth volunteer participation. Applications are accepted, reviewed, and selected from youth and leaders who have consistently engaged in volunteer activities.
Youth aged 9 to 24 who have volunteered between January 1 of last year and July 31 of this year can participate.
You can apply for the activity section (individual/club) that focuses on volunteer experience, and the work section that submits ‘experience essays’ or ‘video records (short form)’ of impressive volunteer activities.
The application period is until September 19th, and the awards ceremony will be held on November 9th after document screening.
A total of 28 awards will be given to excellent volunteers, including the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Award, the Mayor of Daegu Metropolitan City Award, and the Daegu Metropolitan City Superintendent of Education Award.
