대구광역시행복진흥사회서비스원(이사장 배기철, 이하 대구행복진흥원)은 지난달 28일, 남구 대명동 청소년문화거리 문화의집 앞마당에서 6월 대표 청소년어울림마당 ‘2025 청소년 FESTA’를 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사는 ‘직접 써내려가는 우리들의 이야기’를 주제로, 청소년이 직접 기획부터 운영까지 주도한 자율형 축제로 꾸며졌다. 9세부터 24세까지 다양한 연령의 청소년은 물론, 가족과 지역 주민 등 1,000여 명이 참여해 현장은 열기로 가득했다.
특히 눈길을 끈 것은 청소년들의 무대였다. 댄스·보컬·K-POP 등으로 구성된 청소년 동아리 공연은 물론, ‘랜덤 플레이 댄스’에선 시민과 청소년이 한데 어우러져 축제의 흥을 더했다. 청소년문화의집 교육문화 프로그램 수강생들의 발표 공연과 전시, 방과후아카데미 참여 청소년의 퍼포먼스도 무대를 풍성하게 채웠다.
행사장 곳곳에 마련된 체험 부스 역시 인기였다. 청소년들이 기획·운영한 10개의 체험 부스는 창의력과 감각을 뽐낼 수 있는 체험으로 구성돼 남녀노소 모두의 호응을 얻었다.
같은 날, 서구 꼼지락 공원에서는 청소년문화의집 꼼지락발전소와 청소년활동진흥센터가 공동 주관한 ‘2025 대표 청소년 어울림마당 X 꼼지락발전소 오픈데이’도 열렸다. 이곳에선 드론 축구, 클라이밍, 다채로운 공연이 펼쳐져 또 다른 즐거움을 선사했고, 500여 명의 시민이 참여해 성황을 이뤘다.
배기철 대구행복진흥원 이사장은 “청소년이 주인공이 되어 만든 이번 축제는 자율성과 창의성을 키우는 뜻깊은 자리였다”며 “앞으로도 청소년이 중심이 되는 문화예술 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대해 대구시민 모두가 함께 즐기고 성장할 수 있도록 하겠다”고 전했다.

A festival led by youth and participated by the region has revitalized Daegu.

The experience booths set up throughout the venue were also popular. The 10 experience booths planned and operated by youth were comprised of experiences that allowed them to show off their creativity and senses, and received a great response from people of all ages.
On the same day, the ‘2025 Representative Youth Gathering Yard X Komjirak Power Plant Open Day’ jointly hosted by the Youth Culture Center’s Komjirak Power Plant and the Youth Activity Promotion Center was also held at Seogu Komjirak Park. Drone soccer, climbing, and various performances were held here, providing additional enjoyment, and it was a great success with the participation of over 500 citizens.
Bae Ki-cheol, the chairman of the Daegu Happiness Promotion Agency, said, “This festival, created by the youth as the main characters, was a meaningful event that fostered autonomy and creativity,” and added, “We will continue to expand youth-centered cultural and artistic programs so that all Daegu citizens can enjoy and grow together.”
