【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구광역시행복진흥사회서비스원(이사장 배기철, 이하 대구행복진흥원)이 26일부터 평생교육이용권 2차 신청자를 모집하고 있다. 

접수는 7월 10일까지이며, 이번에는 지원 대상을 대폭 확대했다.

1차 접수에서는 저소득층과 장애인 4,079명이 선정돼 1인당 35만 원의 교육비를 지원받았다. 

2차 모집에서는 기존 저소득층에 더해 소득 기준과 관계없이 65세 이상 노인과 디지털교육을 희망하는 30세 이상 시민도 신청할 수 있다. 

특히 디지털이용권은 디지털 역량 강화를 원하는 시민 누구나 신청할 수 있으며, 관련 교육기관에서만 사용할 수 있다.

교육비는 평생교육 강좌 수강료와 교재비 등에 사용할 수 있으며, 자격증 취득, 창업, 어학, 인문학, AI·디지털 분야 등 다양한 강좌가 지원 대상에 포함된다.

배기철 이사장은 “시민의 생애주기와 다양한 특성을 고려해 이용권 유형을 확대했다”며 “더 많은 시민이 평생학습을 통해 삶의 질을 높일 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
