지난 11일 대구경북디자인센터 컨벤션홀에서 진행된 교육에는 대구 지역의 부모 및 지도자 120여 명이 참석하며 성황을 이뤘다.

경찰인재개발원 서민수 교수가 강사로 나서 청소년들이 디지털 환경에서 직면할 수 있는 위험과 예방법에 대해 강의했다.

서 교수는 “자녀의 유해 게시물 노출을 막기 위한 노력이 필요하며 부모 자녀 간 충분한 대화와 올바른 소통을 통해 폭력을 예방할 수 있다”고 말했다.

대구행복진흥원 배기철 이사장은 “디지털성범죄와 사이버 도박은 현대 사회에서 점점 더 심각한 문제로 대두되고 있다”며 “이번 교육이 자녀의 안전을 지키고, 건강한 디지털 생활을 영위하는데 도움이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
