【브레이크뉴스 대구 】박은정 기자= 대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)는 2023년 달서독서대학 기본과정 수강생을 오는 20일부터 선착순으로 모집한다고 15일 밝혔다.

달서독서대학은 2009년부터 달서구민의 자녀 독서지도 역량 향상 및 도서관 전문 자원봉사 인력 양성을 위해 운영되고 있는 독서지도 교육프로그램이다.

올해 기본과정은 4월 18일부터 6월 14일까지 본리도서관에서 매주 화․수요일 2시간씩(10시~12시) 총 17회 운영된다.

수강신청 대상은 그림책 독서지도 및 도서관 자원봉사에 관심 있는 달서구민 50명이며 20일부터 달서구립도서관 홈페이지를 통해 신청할 수 있다. 

 2023년 달서독서대학은 교육 수요 및 그림책 관련 독서트렌드 변화를 반영한 다양한 독서지도법과 그림책큐레이션에 대해 체계적이고 실생활에 적용할 수 있는 교육 내용으로 구성해 기본과정과 심화과정으로 운영된다.

기본과정은 우리나라 도서관과 독서문화 전반에 대한 이해, 도서분류법, 자료수집 등 실제 도서관 운영의 예,  주제별 독서지도, 책놀이, 독서하브루타 등 다양한 독서지도법, 그림책교육 전문가, 영화평론가, 북큐레이터 전문가 특강, 자원봉사 기초교육 등으로 구성되었다.

현직 문헌정보학과 교수, 독서지도․그림책교육 전문가, 북큐레이터 전문가, 현직사서 등 각 분야 전문가 9명의 강의로 이뤄진다.

기본과정 수료자는 9월~11월 운영되는 심화과정(그림책큐레이터 2급 자격증 과정)을 신청할 수 있으며, 심화과정까지 수료하게 되면 도서관 동아리 활동 및 구립도서관, 관내 작은도서관 등에서 자기계발을 위한 그림책큐레이션 재능기부 활동을 할 수 있는 기회가 주어진다.

이태훈 달서구청장은 “달서독서대학을 통해 지역주민들이 평생학습 욕구를 충족하고 개인의 잠재적 능력개발 및 사회참여의 기회를 찾는데 도움이 되기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

 Daegu Dalseo-gu (Chief Lee Tae-hoon) announced that it will recruit students for the basic course of Dalseo Reading University in 2023 on a first-come, first-served basis from the 20th.

   Dalseo Reading University is a reading guidance education program that has been operated since 2009 to improve the reading instructional capacity of the children of Dalseo-gu residents and to nurture professional library volunteers.

   This year's basic course runs for 2 hours every Tuesday and Wednesday at the Bonri Library from April 18th to June 14th (10:00 - 12:00), totaling 17 sessions.

   The course registration target is 50 Dalseo-gu residents who are interested in picture book reading guidance and library volunteer work.

   In 2023, Dalseo Reading University will be operated as a basic course and an advanced course with systematic and practical educational contents for various reading instruction methods and picture book curation that reflect changes in educational demand and picture book-related reading trends.

   The basic course is an understanding of libraries and reading culture in Korea in general, examples of actual library operation such as book classification, data collection, various reading guidance methods such as subject-specific reading instruction, book play, and reading habit, picture book education experts, film critics, and book curator experts. It consisted of special lectures and basic volunteer training.

It consists of lectures by nine experts in each field, including incumbent library and information department professors, reading guidance and picture book education experts, book curator experts, and incumbent librarians.

Those who have completed the basic course can apply for the advanced course (picture book curator level 2 certification course) that runs from September to November, and upon completion of the advanced course, picture book curation for self-development at library club activities and municipal libraries and small libraries in the jurisdiction. Opportunities for talent donation activities are provided.
