제300회 임시회 첫날 개최된 이날 행사는 이만규 대구시의회 의장의 기념사, 홍준표 대구시장과 강은희 대구시 교육감의 축사에 이어 김진표 국회의장, 김현기 시도의회의장협의회장, 이철우 시도지사협의회장, 우동기 국가균형발전위원장의 축전을 소개하고 전 의원이 ‘민생우선 정책의회’의 각오를 다시 한 번 다지는 시간을 가졌다.
