【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도는 20일 도청에서 주형환 대통령 직속 저출산·고령사회위원회 부위원장과감경철 저출생대책국민운동본부장 등 1,000여 명의 지역 주요 인사들이 자리를 함께 한 가운데 대대적인 선포식을 하고 저출생과 본격적인 전쟁에 돌입했다.

경북도는 지난 1월 18일 전 직원 끝장 토론과 각계 전문가 협의를 통해 저출생의 가장 큰 요인이 육아와 주거 문제라고 진단하고 이를 해결하기 위해 10대 핵심과제를 조기에 구체화하겠다고 밝힌바 있다.

도는완전돌봄, 안심 주거, 일·생활 균형, 양성평등 등 4개 분야에 걸쳐 35개 실행 과제를 제시하고 초단기-단기-중기-장기 등 단계별로 추진해 나가겠다는 로드맵을 제시했다.

특히, 도가 가장 대표모델로 추진하는‘우리동네 돌봄마을’은 돌봄을 개인 부담에서 공동체 부담으로 재인식시키며, 민간이 주도적으로 참여하는 방식으로 진행할 것으로 알려져 많은 관심을 모았다.

종합자원봉사센터와 주민자치회, 새마을회, 이장통장협의회, 의용소방대연합회, 자율방범대연합회, 지역대학 등 참여기관 간 업무협약도 함께 이뤄져 실행력을 담보한다.

도는 앞으로, 조기 추경 편성으로 핵심 시책을 연내 구체화해 나가면서, 릴레이 현장토론회, 청년들과의 대화, 대국민 시책 공모 등으로 공감대 확산, 법·제도 개선을 위한 대정부 건의 등 다각적인 노력을 속도감 있게 전개해 나갈 예정이다.
