【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=2025학년도 1학기 국가장학금 1차 신청 마감이 7일 앞으로 다가왔다.

한국장학재단과 교육부는 2025학년도 1학기 국가장학금 1차 신청을 오는 26일 오후 6시까지 접수받는다고 밝혔다.

신청 대상은 재학생, 신입생, 편입생, 재입학생, 복학생 등 모든 대학생이다.

내년부터는 국가장학금 지원 기준이 기존의 8구간 이하에서 9구간 이하로 확대돼 지원 대상이 약 100만 명에서 150만 명으로 대폭 늘어난다. 

신규 지원 대상인 9구간은 국가장학금 Ⅰ유형의 경우 연간 100만원, 다자녀의 경우 첫째·둘째는 연간 135만 원, 셋째 이상은 연간 200만 원을 지원받을 수 있다.

지원 기준 확대에 따라 2024학년도에 소득요건 등으로 인해 장학금 지원 대상이 아니었던 학생도 요건을 확인해 적극적으로 장학금을 신청할 필요가 있다. 

학자금지원구간은 학생 본인과 가구원(부·모 또는 배우자)의 소득평가액과 부동산 등 재산의 소득환산액, 형제·자매 수에 따른 공제액을 반영하고 산정에는 약 8주 내외의 기간이 소요된다. 

한국장학재단 누리집(www.kosaf.go.kr)과 ‘한국장학재단’ 모바일 앱을 통해 24시간 신청할 수 있다.
