【브레이크뉴스 대구경북 】이성현 기자= 오는 4월 2일 실시되는 2025년도 재보궐 선거에 출마하는 대구경북 후보자가 확정됐다. 

지역 내 유일한 기초단체장 선거가 실시되는 경북 김천시장은 4:1의 경쟁률을 보였다. 더불어민주당에서는 황태성 후보가 나왔다. 황 후보는 올해 51세로 더불어민주당 김천시당위원장을 맡고 있다.

공천 과정에서 잡음이 많았던 국민의힘에서는 배낙호 후보를 밀어부쳤다. 배 후보는 전 김천시의회 의장을 지냈으며, 올해 만 66세로 김천시장에 도전하는 후보들 가운데 가장 나이가 많다.

이밖에 무소속으로 출마하는 이창재 후보는 전 김천시 부시장과 경상북도 감사관을 지낸 행정통이다. 올해 61세다. 또다른 무소속 이선명 후보는 제 5,6,7,8 대 김천시의회 의원을 지냈으며 지난 8대 시장 선거에도 출마한 바 있다. 올해 62세다.

대구시의회 의원을 선출하는 대구 달서구 제 6선거구에는 더불어민주당 김태형(50세. 남), 국민의힘 김주범(48세, 남), 자유통일당 최다스림(28세,남) 등 3명이 입후보 등록을 마쳤다. 

민주당 김태형 후보와 국민의힘 김주범 후보는 전 달서구의원 출신으로 지역 의정활동 경험이 있는 후보들이며, 김주범 후보의 경우 국회의원 보좌관까지 지냈다. 자유통일당 최다스림 후보는 자유통일당 청년위원장이면서 자유통일당 달서구 당원동지협의회 회장을 겸직하고 있다. 

경북에서도 광역의원 선거가 있다. 경북 성주군의 경우, 경북도의원 보궐 선거가 있지만 더불어민주당과 국민의힘은 후보를 내지 않았다. 무소속 정영길 후보만이 단독으로 출마하면서 사실상 무투표 당선이 확정됐다.

기초 의원을 선출하는 경북 고령군 나선거구에는 더불어민주당,국민의힘에서 각각1명씩, 무소속 2명이 출마하면서 4:1의 경쟁률을 보였다. 더불어민주당 김대훈 후보는 올해 만 54세이며, 컴퓨터 학원장 출신이다. 

국민의힘 나영완 후보는 57세로 다산면 이장협의회장 출신이다. 무소속의 임병준 후보는 경상북도청 공무원 출신이며, 올해 나이는 67세, 경상대학교 대학원을 나왔다. 또다른 무소속 손형순 후보는 다산중학교 총동창회장 출신으로 대구공전을 나왔다. 

한편, 이번 선거에서는 참여 여부와 관계없이 ‘공직선거법’ 제150조에 따라 전국적 통일 기호 부여 대상 정당은 4개 정당(더불어민주당 1번, 국민의힘 2번, 조국혁신당 3번, 개혁신당 4번)으로, 투표용지에 게재될 기호의 순위는 국회의석을 가진 정당은 다수 의석 순이다. 의석이 없는 정당은 정당 명칭의 ‘가나다’순, 무소속 후보자는 추첨으로 결정된다.

또, 재·보궐선거의 선거권자는 3월 16일부터 3월 18일까지 주소지 구·시·군청을 방문하거나 구·시·군청 홈페이지를 통해 선거인명부를 열람할 수 있고, 누락 또는 오기가 있거나 자격이 없는 선거인이 올라와 있는 경우, 구·시·군청에 이의신청을 할 수 있다. 선거인명부는 3월 21일에 최종 확정된다.
