특히 최근 마약 유통이 온라인으로 옮겨가며 10~30대의 비중이 전체 단속 건수의 60%에 달해 젊은 세대가 심각한 위험에 노출돼 있다고 강조했다.
이어 교육청을 향해 △학생 대상 유해약물 예방교육 현황 △학부모 연수 참여율 △관련 캠페인 추진 실적 등에 대해 구체적인 자료와 대책을 요구했다.
김 의원은 “최근 대구 지역 축제 현장에서도 인지하기 어려운 마약류(GHB 등)가 악용될 수 있다는 우려가 크다”며 “현장 캠페인 강화와 간이검사키트 배포 같은 실질적 조치가 필요하다"고 강조했다.
아울러 “마약 문제는 범죄를 넘어 청소년 보호, 복지, 보건, 사회복귀가 통합적으로 이뤄져야 할 복합 사회문제”라며 “대구시가 마약 청정 도시로 거듭나기 위해선 전 행정력을 동원한 연령별·장소별 맞춤 대응과 회복지원까지 포함한 체계적 대응이 필요하다”고 덧붙였다.
