자치행정위원회 (정원석 위원장)는 자치행정국, 포항문화재단, 정책기획관, 대변인, 감사담당관 등을 대상으로 체육, 문화, 예산 등 시민 생활과 직결되는 분야를 중심으로 감사를 진행했다.

체육 분야에서는 포항시 체육회의 인사·재정·운영 방안 등 전반적인 관리 부실 및 장애인 체육관 볼링장, 다원복합센터 등 체육시설의 전반적인 관리 부실을 강도 높게 지적하며 시민을 위한 체육 인프라 구성을 논의·주문했다.

17일 도시안전주택국 감사에서는 도시정비계획 재정비 사업의 균형 있는 지역 발전 추구, 일반산업단지 조성 중 나타난 문제점에 대한 개선 요구, 실효성 있는 도시재생사업 추진안 검토 및 간판 개선 사업의 효율적인 추진 등을 주문했다.
