양윤제 예결특위위원장 등 11명의 위원들은 12일부터 16일까지 추경예산안에 대한 종합 심사를 진행할 예정이다. 이번에 심사하는 추경예산안의 총규모는 3조 3,153억 원으로, 제1회 추경 대비 9.52% 증가한 2,883억 원(일반회계 2,500억 원, 특별회계 383억 원 증가) 규모다.

양윤제 위원장은 “철강산업 위기로 포항이 어려움에 처한 상황에서, 위기 극복을 위해 민생 안정과 미래 성장 기반 마련을 예산 심사의 핵심으로 삼겠다”며, “집행부와 충분히 소통해 포항이 재정적으로 건강하고 경쟁력 있는 도시로 성장할 수 있도록 심사에 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.

2025년도 제2회 추경예산안은 16일 예결특위 계수조정을 거쳐, 19일 제4차 본회의에서 최종 확정될 예정이다.
