Dongguk University WISE Campus Announces 2026 Regular Admissions, Groups A and C
Dongguk University WISE Campus announced on the 24th that applications for the 2026 regular admissions will be accepted online from 9:00 AM on December 29th to 6:00 PM on December 31st.
Applicants must take the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) section required by each department at Dongguk University WISE Campus. Applicants who did not take the CSAT are eligible for the academic screening process. Furthermore, applicants for the non-quota screening process (e.g., rural and fishing villages, specialized high school graduates, and equal opportunity II) will be selected solely based on academic performance, regardless of CSAT scores (for the Departments of Oriental Medicine, Medicine, and Nursing, the CSAT will be the sole factor).
Regular admissions are conducted in Group A and Group C. Group A includes the College of Buddhist Culture (Buddhist Studies, Buddhist Cultural Contents, Meditation Psychology Counseling), the College of Global Culture Convergence (Web Literature, Korean History, Archaeology and Art History, English Language and Literature, Japanese Language and Literature, Chinese Language and Literature, Sports Science, Sports Medicine, Elite Sports), and the College of Global Energy (Electronics and Information Communication Engineering, Nuclear Energy and Electrical Engineering, Safety and Health, Firefighting and Disaster Prevention, Automotive Materials and Components Engineering, and Computer Engineering). Group C includes the College of Global Culture Convergence (Design and Fine Arts, Landscape Architecture and Garden Design, Public Administration and Police Engineering, Social Welfare, Child and Youth Education, Aviation Service Trade, Business Administration, Accounting and Taxation, Information Management, Hotel and Tourism Management, Culinary Arts and Food Service Management, Early Childhood Education, Home Economics Education, Mathematics Education, Health and Medical Informatics, and Beauty Art Industry). The College of Global Energy (Department of Bio-Chemical Convergence), College of Korean Medicine (Department of Korean Medicine), College of Medicine (Department of Medicine), College of Nursing (Department of Nursing), and College of Global Talent (Department of Liberal Arts) are recruiting applicants.
The College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) score distribution method is as follows: All admissions units except for the College of Korean Medicine, College of Medicine, and College of Nursing will each weigh 50% of their top two subjects among Korean, Mathematics, and Exploration. The College of Korean Medicine (Type 1) and the College of Medicine will each weigh 25% of their Korean, 35% of their Mathematics (Calculus, Geometry), 20% of their English, and 20% of their Science Exploration. For the College of Medicine, Science Exploration II will be weighted by 5%. The College of Korean Medicine (Type 2) will weigh 25% of their Korean, 35% of their Mathematics, 20% of their English, and 20% of their Social Studies or Science Exploration subjects. The Nursing Department's weighting system includes Korean (25%), Mathematics (35%), English (20%), and Exploration (20%). For the Nursing Department, Calculus or Geometry is weighted 10% for elective subjects, and Science Exploration is weighted 5% for elective subjects. The Exploration section is based on the combined score of two subjects from the Department of Oriental Medicine, the Department of Medicine, and the Department of Nursing. For other departments, the top subject is considered. Dongguk University WISE Campus will provide a scholarship of 2 million won to the first successful applicants for the 2026 regular admissions (excluding the Department of Oriental Medicine, the Department of Medicine, and the non-quota admissions).
The announcement of successful applicants for the 2026 regular admissions is scheduled for Monday, February 2, 2026.
