동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스(총장 류완하) 대학일자리플러스센터는 4월 1일 교내 에너지공학관에서 재학생을 대상으로 한전KDN 채용설명회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 설명회는 공공기관 및 공기업 취업을 희망하는 청년들에게 실질적인 채용 정보를 제공하고 기업과의 소통 기회를 확대하기 위해 마련됐다.

행사에서는 한전KDN 채용 절차와 직무별 주요 업무, 필요 역량, 준비 전략 등 취업에 필요한 핵심 정보가 제공됐다. 기업 관계자는 IT·통신·사무 등 주요 직무 분야의 최신 동향과 함께 최근 공기업 채용 트렌드 및 평가 기준을 설명했다.

또한 채용 담당자와 참가자 간 일대일 상담이 진행돼 자기소개서 작성 요령, 직무 역량 어필 방법, 면접 준비 전략 등 개인별 맞춤형 컨설팅이 제공됐다.

설명회에 참석한 한다건(전자정보통신공학 4학년) 학생은 “직무별 요구 역량과 실제 취업 준비 과정에 대한 설명이 매우 유익했다”며 “현직자와 직접 소통하며 현실적인 조언을 받아 진로 방향 설정에 큰 도움이 됐다”고 소감을 전했다.

하성 대학일자리플러스센터장은 “이번 채용설명회는 학생들에게 실질적인 채용 정보를 제공하기 위해 기획됐다”며 “앞으로도 기업 연계 프로그램을 확대해 학생들의 성공적인 사회 진출을 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스는 2022년 고용노동부 대학일자리플러스센터 사업, 2024년 재학생 맞춤형 고용서비스 사업, 2025년 졸업생 특화 프로그램 사업에 연이어 선정되며 재학생과 졸업생, 지역 청년을 대상으로 상담, 비교과 프로그램, 취업 연계 등 종합적인 진로·취업 지원 서비스를 제공하고 있다.

The University Job Plus Center at Dongguk University WISE Campus (President Ryu Wan-ha) announced that it held a recruitment briefing for KEPCO KDN for current students at the Energy Engineering Building on campus on April 1.

This briefing was organized to provide practical recruitment information to young people hoping to work in public institutions and public enterprises, and to expand opportunities for communication with the company.

The event provided key information necessary for employment, including KEPCO KDN's recruitment process, major duties by job function, required competencies, and preparation strategies. Company officials explained the latest trends in major job fields such as IT, telecommunications, and office administration, along with recent recruitment trends and evaluation criteria for public enterprises.

In addition, one-on-one consultations were conducted between recruitment staff and participants, providing personalized consulting on topics such as how to write self-introduction letters, how to highlight job competencies, and interview preparation strategies.

Han Da-geon (4th year, Electronic Information and Communication Engineering), who attended the information session, shared his thoughts, saying, “The explanations regarding the competencies required for each job and the actual job preparation process were very informative.” He added, “Communicating directly with current employees and receiving realistic advice was a great help in setting my career direction.”

Ha Seong, Director of the University Job Plus Center, stated, “This recruitment information session was planned to provide students with practical employment information,” and added, “We will continue to expand corporate partnership programs to actively support students’ successful entry into society.”

Meanwhile, Dongguk University WISE Campus has been consecutively selected for the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s University Job Plus Center project in 2022, the customized employment service project for current students in 2024, and the specialized program project for graduates in 2025. As a result, the campus is providing comprehensive career and employment support services, including counseling, extracurricular programs, and job placement, to current students, graduates, and local youth.
