동국대 WISE캠퍼스는 지난 3일 교내 진흥관에서 ‘2026 청년취업지원 강화를 위한 경주소재 기업 인사담당자 간담회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 간담회에는 현대IHL, 다스, 풍산, 일진베어링, 발레오, 에코플라스틱 등 자동차 부품 및 제조 분야 주요 기업 52개사의 인사담당자 60여 명이 참석했다.

이번 행사는 2013년 동국대 WISE캠퍼스와 경주시, 경주지역인사노무관리자협의회 간 체결된 업무협약을 기반으로 구축된 협력 거버넌스를 바탕으로, 변화하는 고용 환경과 지역 소멸 위기에 대응하기 위해 마련됐다.

핵심 안건은 지역 기업의 인력 채용 계획과 대학 연계 프로그램 수요 조사였다. 대학 측은 이를 통해 기업이 요구하는 직무 역량과 채용 수요를 정밀 분석하고, 향후 교육과정과 취업 지원 프로그램에 반영할 방침이다.

특히 2026학년도 1학기부터 운영 중인 ‘지역산업 연계형 모듈 교육과정’이 주목된다. 해당 과정은 생산공정관리 분야를 중심으로 공정 설계, 작업 관리, 생성형 AI 기반 품질관리 등 실무 중심 교과목으로 구성돼 현장 적합형 인재 양성에 초점을 맞췄다.

또한 지역 기업 대표가 참여하는 ‘C.E.O의 성공취업전략’ 교과목을 통해 학생들의 지역 기업 인식을 개선하고, 추천 채용과 지역 정주형 취업으로 연계하는 방안도 추진된다.

하성 대학일자리플러스센터장은 “기업 수요를 반영한 맞춤형 교육과 취업 지원을 통해 학생과 기업 모두가 만족하는 연결 구조를 구축하겠다”며 “산·학·관 협력을 기반으로 지역 인재 육성 체계를 더욱 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

동국대 WISE캠퍼스는 이번 조사 결과를 토대로 하반기 기업 맞춤형 채용설명회와 직무캠프 등 후속 프로그램을 추진할 계획이다.

한편, 대학일자리플러스센터를 중심으로 재학생·졸업생·지역 청년을 대상으로 상담과 취업 알선 등 종합 지원을 제공하고 있으며, 고용노동부 주관 사업과 성과 평가에서 우수 등급을 획득하는 등 취업 지원 역량을 인정받고 있다.

Dongguk University WISE Campus announced that it held the "Meeting of HR Managers from Gyeongju-based Companies to Strengthen Youth Employment Support for 2026" at the campus Jinheung Hall on the 3rd.

Approximately 60 HR managers from 52 major companies in the automotive parts and manufacturing sectors, including Hyundai IHL, DAS, Poongsan, Iljin Bearing, Valeo, and Eco Plastic, attended the meeting.

This event was organized to respond to the changing employment environment and the crisis of regional decline, based on the cooperative governance established through a business agreement signed in 2013 between Dongguk University WISE Campus, Gyeongju City, and the Gyeongju Regional Human Resources and Labor Management Association. The key agenda item was a survey of local companies' hiring plans and demand for university-linked programs. Through this, the university plans to conduct a precise analysis of the job competencies and recruitment needs required by companies and reflect these findings in future curricula and employment support programs.

In particular, the "Regional Industry-Linked Module Curriculum," which has been in operation since the first semester of the 2026 academic year, is drawing attention. Focusing on the field of production process management, this course consists of practical subjects such as process design, work management, and generative AI-based quality control, with a focus on cultivating talent suitable for the field.

Additionally, measures are being pursued to improve students' perception of local companies through the "CEO's Successful Employment Strategy" course, featuring representatives from local firms, and to link this to recommended hiring and employment for permanent settlement in the region.

Ha Seong, Director of the University Job Plus Center, stated, "We will build a connection structure that satisfies both students and companies through customized education and employment support that reflect corporate demand," adding, "We will further strengthen the system for cultivating local talent based on cooperation among industry, academia, and the government." Based on the results of this survey, Dongguk University's WISE Campus plans to implement follow-up programs in the second half of the year, such as customized recruitment information sessions and job camps.

Meanwhile, centered around the University Job Plus Center, the campus provides comprehensive support, including counseling and job placement, to current students, graduates, and local youth. Its employment support capabilities have been recognized, as evidenced by receiving an excellent rating in projects and performance evaluations conducted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
