‘찾아가는 인문강좌’는 교육부와 경주시가 지원하는 인문도시지원사업 '경주, 공감문화 상생플랫폼 도시'의 일환으로, 경주교육지원청과 협력해 지역 청소년들의 인문적 사고력과 상상력을 함양하고 경주의 인문 자산에 대한 이해를 높이기 위해 기획됐다.

2025학년도 하반기 강좌는 경주 지역 내 12개 학교에서 운영됐으며, 총 800여 명의 학생이 참여했다. 강의는 신라의 역사와 신화, 경주의 문화유산, 인공지능과 첨단 기술, 철학과 현대 사회 이슈 등을 아우르는 폭넓은 주제로 구성돼 학생들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.

황영애 경주교육지원청 교육장은 “지역 문화유산을 활용한 인문학 강의가 학생들의 인문학적 감수성과 이해를 넓히는 의미 있는 계기가 됐다”며 “2026학년도에는 성인과 고등학생을 대상으로 한 진로·진학 연계 인문 교육 프로그램으로까지 확장되기를 기대한다”고 말했다.
