【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도(도지사 이철우)와 경북테크노파크(원장 하인성)는 도내 청년 창업가의 생존율 제고와 지속 가능한 성장 기반 마련을 위해 ‘2026 경북 청년CEO 심화육성 지원’ 사업 참여기업 40개 사를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 경북청년창업지원센터가 수행하며, 경북도 내 본사를 둔 만 39세 이하 청년 창업자를 대상으로 한다. 올해는 모집 규모를 40개 사로 확대해 지원 범위를 넓혔다. 지역 내 유망 창업 아이템을 보유한 청년 기업을 조기에 발굴해 안정적인 시장 안착을 돕겠다는 취지다.

모집은 두 개 트랙으로 운영된다. ‘시·군 예비청년창업가육성사업’을 수료(졸업)한 청년CEO를 대상으로 하는 심화과정(20개 사)과, 해당 과정을 거치지 않은 창업 1년 이상 3년 이하 청년CEO를 위한 일반과정(20개 사)이다.

모집 분야는 기술창업, 지식창업, 6차산업, 일반창업 등 전 분야다. 선정 기업에는 최대 1,500만 원의 창업활동비가 지원된다. 기업은 이를 활용해 시제품 제작, 홍보·마케팅, 인증 획득 등 사업화에 필요한 활동을 추진할 수 있다.

지난해 지원 성과도 가시적이다. 15기 청년CEO인 도데솔루션(대표 김도형)은 반도체 공정용 PFPE 오일 리사이클 및 국산화 솔루션을 개발 중으로, 환경창업대전 스타기업 선정과 환경산업기술원장상 수상, 도전K-스타트업 통합 본선 진출 등의 성과를 냈다. 특히 창업 실무교육과 전문가 컨설팅을 기반으로 5억 원 규모 Pre-A 투자 유치에 성공하며 지역 대표 청년 혁신기업으로 성장하고 있다.

하인성 원장은 “올해 새롭게 도입한 AI 및 R&D 중심 고도화 커리큘럼은 청년 기업의 글로벌 경쟁력 강화에 실질적인 도움이 될 것”이라며 “단순 자금 지원을 넘어 현장 밀착형 컨설팅을 통해 청년 창업가가 경북에 안정적으로 정착하고 성장할 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Gyeongsangbuk-do Province (Governor Lee Cheol-woo) and Gyeongbuk Technopark (Director Ha In-seong) announced that they are recruiting 40 companies to participate in the "2026 Gyeongbuk Youth CEO Intensive Development Support Program" to improve the survival rate of young entrepreneurs in the province and establish a foundation for sustainable growth.

This program, implemented by the Gyeongbuk Youth Entrepreneurship Support Center, targets young entrepreneurs under the age of 39 with headquarters in Gyeongbuk Province. This year, the program has expanded the scope of support to 40 companies. The goal is to identify promising young entrepreneurs with promising startup ideas in the region early and support their stable market establishment.

Recruitment will be conducted through two tracks. The program offers two programs: an intensive course (20 companies) for young CEOs who have completed (or graduated from) the "City/County Preliminary Young Entrepreneurs Development Program," and a general course (20 companies) for young CEOs who have not completed the program and have been running their businesses for one to three years.

Recruitment areas include technology startups, knowledge startups, the 6th industry, and general startups. Selected companies will receive up to 15 million won in startup activity funds. These funds can be used to pursue commercialization activities such as prototype production, promotion and marketing, and certification acquisition.

Last year's support also yielded tangible results. Dodesolution (CEO Kim Do-hyung), a member of the 15th batch of young CEOs, is developing a solution for recycling and domesticating PFPE oil for semiconductor processes. The company achieved success, including being selected as a Star Company at the Environmental Startup Competition, winning the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute Director's Award, and advancing to the final round of the Challenge K-Startup. In particular, based on practical entrepreneurship training and expert consulting, the company successfully attracted 500 million won in Pre-A investment, growing into a leading youth-led innovative company in the region.
