【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경북테크노파크와 경북 사회복지공동모금회가 저출생·고령화에 따른 돌봄 인력 부족과 취약계층 돌봄 공백 해소를 위해 ‘AI 돌봄 지원 로봇 보급 시범사업’ 참여 컨소시엄을 모집한다.
이번 사업을 통해 도내 돌봄센터 5개소와 사회복지법인 어린이집 5개소 등 총 10개 시설에 100대 내외의 AI 돌봄 지원 로봇을 보급할 예정이다. 이를 통해 취약 아동 약 700명이 AI 기반 스마트 돌봄 서비스를 제공받게 된다.
신청 자격은 경상북도 내 사업장을 둔 AI 돌봄 지원 로봇 기업을 주관기업으로 하며, 로봇의 보급·운영·유지보수 역량을 갖춰야 한다. 공급기관은 AI 콘텐츠, 교육, 데이터 분석 등 기술 지원이 가능한 기업이나 대학·연구기관으로, 주관기업과 컨소시엄을 구성해 지속 가능한 돌봄 체계 구축을 목표로 한다.
또한 돌봄 현장의 실질적 활용도를 높이기 위해 돌봄 종사자 50명 이상을 대상으로 AI 돌봄 로봇 직무교육을 실시하고, 전문 인력 양성도 병행 추진한다.
신청 기간은 2월 12일부터 3월 3일까지 3주간이며, 세부 내용은 경북테크노파크 홈페이지 사업공고란에서 확인할 수 있다. 돌봄 수요가 높고 인력 여건이 취약한 시설을 우선 선정해 돌봄 공백 해소와 보육 서비스 질 향상을 도모할 계획이다. 돌봄 시설 모집 및 선정은 경상북도와 경북테크노파크가 별도로 진행한다.
이치헌 경상북도 저출생극복본부장은 “이번 시범사업을 통해 사업 효과성과 현장 적용성을 체계적으로 검증하고, 이를 토대로 정부 공모 및 국비 확보를 추진해 전국 단위 사업으로 확대하겠다”며 “AI 돌봄 로봇 분야에서 경북이 스마트 돌봄 정책을 선도하도록 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
하인성 경북테크노파크 원장은 “이번 사업은 AI 기술을 활용한 미래형 돌봄 서비스의 가능성을 현장에서 검증하는 중요한 출발점”이라며 “경북이 스마트 돌봄 분야를 선도할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Applicants must be AI care support robot companies with operations in Gyeongsangbuk-do and possess capabilities in the distribution, operation, and maintenance of robots. Providers are companies, universities, and research institutes capable of providing technical support, including AI content, education, and data analysis. They will form a consortium with the host company to establish a sustainable care system.
Furthermore, to enhance practical utilization in care settings, AI care robot job training will be provided to at least 50 caregivers, and specialized personnel training will also be pursued.

Priority will be given to facilities with high demand for care and limited staffing, aiming to address the gap in care and improve the quality of childcare services. The recruitment and selection of care facilities will be handled separately by Gyeongsangbuk-do and Gyeongbuk Technopark.
Lee Chi-heon, Director of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Low Birth Rate Overcoming Headquarters, stated, "Through this pilot project, we will systematically verify the effectiveness and practical applicability of the project. Based on this, we will pursue government competition and secure national funding to expand the project nationwide."
