【브레이크뉴스 경산】이성현 기자=(재)경북테크노파크(원장 하인성)는 지난 12월 15일부터 18일까지 4일간 우즈베키스탄 기술규제청(Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation) 대표단이 한국의 선진 표준화 및 인증 인프라를 벤치마킹하기 위해 공식 방문했다고 밝혔다.
이번 방문은 세계무역기구(WTO) 가입을 국정 최우선 과제로 추진 중인 우즈베키스탄 정부가 가입의 핵심 전제 조건인 기술적 무역장벽(TBT) 해소와 국제 표준 부합화를 위해 경북테크노파크의 전문 인프라 시찰을 요청하면서 성사됐다.
마마다리에바 나이바혼(Mamadalieva Naibakhon Saydaminovna) 고문을 포함한 5명의 대표단은 방문 기간 동안 경북테크노파크 본원을 비롯해 ▲첨단메디컬융합소재실용화센터 ▲미래차첨단소재성형가공센터 ▲공유배터리 안전연구센터 ▲무선전력전송기술센터 등 산업별 핵심 특화센터를 차례로 방문했다. 또한 대구한의대학교 바이오 융·복합시험센터를 찾아 각 산업 분야에서 실제로 이뤄지는 표준화 및 인증 절차를 면밀히 살펴봤다.
하인성 경북테크노파크 원장은 면담에서 “대한민국 역시 지난 30여 년간 국가 주도의 표준화 과정을 거치며 글로벌 시장에 성공적으로 안착한 경험을 보유하고 있다”며 “우즈베키스탄의 WTO 가입은 글로벌 시장 진출을 위한 필연적인 과정인 만큼, 한국의 축적된 노하우가 우즈베키스탄 국가 표준 수립의 밑거름이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
이어 “경북테크노파크는 2018년부터 우즈베키스탄과 쌓아온 두터운 신뢰를 바탕으로, 이번 협력을 계기로 IT와 제조업을 중심으로 양국 기업 간 교류가 더욱 활성화될 수 있도록 비즈니스 협업을 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Gyeongbuk Technopark (President Ha In-seong) announced that a delegation from the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation (ATTR) made an official visit from December 15th to 18th to benchmark Korea's advanced standardization and certification infrastructure.
This visit was made possible by the Uzbek government, which is prioritizing accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), requesting an inspection of Gyeongbuk Technopark's specialized infrastructure to address key prerequisites for accession, including eliminating technical barriers to trade (TBT) and ensuring compliance with international standards.
The five-member delegation, including Advisor Mamadalieva Naibakhon Saydaminovna, visited the Gyeongbuk Technopark headquarters and key specialized centers for each industry, including the Advanced Medical Convergence Materials Commercialization Center, the Future Vehicle Advanced Materials Molding and Processing Center, the Shared Battery Safety Research Center, and the Wireless Power Transmission Technology Center. They also visited the Daegu Haany University Bio Convergence and Composite Testing Center to closely examine the standardization and certification procedures currently in place in each industry.
During the meeting, Ha In-seong, Director of Gyeongbuk Technopark, stated, "South Korea has successfully established itself in the global market through state-led standardization efforts over the past 30 years. Since Uzbekistan's accession to the WTO is a necessary step toward entering the global market, I hope that Korea's accumulated expertise will serve as a foundation for establishing Uzbekistan's national standards."
He continued, “Gyeongbuk Technopark will actively support business collaboration so that exchanges between companies in both countries, especially in the IT and manufacturing industries, can be further activated through this cooperation, based on the strong trust we have built with Uzbekistan since 2018.”
