【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경북테크노파크는 지난 24일 몽골국립의과대학교(총장 담딘도르즈 볼드바토르) 및 대구한의대학교(산학협력단장 황세진)와 함께 ‘한국형 테크노파크 구축’을 위한 실무 협력 회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 회의는 지난해 9월 양 대학 간 체결된 업무협약(MOU)과 12월 공동 프로젝트 실행을 위해 설립된 조인트벤처 협약의 후속 조치로 마련됐다. 특히 몽골국립의과대 총장 지시에 따라 구성된 6대 분야 실무협의체가 본격 가동에 들어가면서 협력 사업이 구체화 단계에 접어들었다는 점에서 의미가 크다.

이날 회의에서 경북테크노파크는 연간 약 2,300억 원 규모의 사업 예산 운영 현황과 중앙·지방정부 협력 모델을 소개했다. 또한 우즈베키스탄에 전수 중인 인프라 구축 및 운영 노하우를 공유하며, 한국과 몽골 간 중장기 협력 방안을 제시했다.

담딘도르즈 볼드바토르 총장은 몽골 내 화장품 특화 테크노파크 조성 가능성과 이를 위한 공적개발원조(ODA) 사업 추진 방안에 대해 높은 관심을 나타냈다. 이에 경북테크노파크는 대구한의대와의 협력을 통한 조성 방안을 언급하며, 중앙정부 차원의 ODA 사업 연계를 포함한 협력체계 구축에 뜻을 모았다.

하인성 경북테크노파크 원장은 “단기적 성과에 치중하기보다 양국이 장기적 관점에서 협력한다면 의미 있는 결과를 도출할 수 있을 것”이라며 “운영 노하우를 바탕으로 몽골 현지에 최적화된 테크노파크 모델이 안착하도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Gyeongbuk Technopark and Mongolia Begin Cooperation to Establish a "Korean-Style Technopark"

Gyeongbuk Technopark announced on the 24th that it held a working-level cooperation meeting with the National University of Medical Sciences of Mongolia (President Damdindorz Boldbaatar) and Daegu Haany University (Director of Industry-Academic Cooperation Hwang Se-jin) to establish a "Korean-Style Technopark."

President Damdindorz Boldbaatar expressed strong interest in the possibility of establishing a cosmetics-specialized technopark in Mongolia and the promotion of Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects for this purpose. Gyeongbuk Technopark, in response, mentioned a plan for such a development through collaboration with Daegu University of Hanui and agreed to establish a cooperative system, including linking with central government-level ODA projects.

Gyeongbuk Technopark Director Ha In-seong stated, "If both countries cooperate with a long-term perspective rather than focusing on short-term results, meaningful results can be achieved. We will actively support the establishment of a technopark model optimized for Mongolia, leveraging our operational expertise."
