신청 대상은 동구의 특색을 반영한 메뉴와 청결한 위생 관리 수준을 갖춘 일반음식점으로, 오는 31일까지 영업주가 직접 신청하면 된다.

선정은 공정성과 객관성 확보를 위해 ▲현장 심사 ▲블라인드 테스트 ▲식품진흥기금 심의위원회 심사 등 3단계 검증 절차를 거쳐 이뤄진다.

최종 지정 업소에는 동구맛집 지정증과 현판이 수여되며, 위생용품 지원과 함께 동구맛집 홈페이지 및 리플릿 제작 등 온·오프라인 홍보 지원이 제공된다.

윤석준 동구청장은 “동구의 맛과 멋을 널리 알릴 열정 있는 외식업주들의 많은 참여를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
