【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도는 코로나19 일상 회복에 발맞춰 도민의 건강과 쾌적한 실내공기 관리를 위해 이달부터 연말까지 시군 환경부서와 합동으로 다중이용시설의 실내공기 질 점검을 실시한다고 16일 밝혔다.

경북도에 따르면 올해는 전체 대상시설 1053개 가운데 노인요양시설과 어린이집을 선별해 집중 점검할 방침이다.

또 점검 효과를 높이기 위해 대중이 많이 이용하는 시간대와 장소를 대상으로 현장에서 측정기기로 오염도 검사를 통해 유지기준 준수여부를 확인할 계획이다.

검사는 실내공기 질 관리법의 유지기준 6개 항목(미세먼지(PM-10), 미세먼지(PM-2.5), 이산화탄소(CO2), 일산화탄소(CO), 폼알데하이드(HCHO), 총부유세균)을 현장에서 측정한다.

지난 5년간 실내공기 질 검사결과, 2017년 53건(부적합 2건), 18년 66건, 19년 55건(부적합 1건), 20년 50건, 21년 39건으로 전체 263건의 점검 중 부적합은 3건으로 낮게 나타났다.

부적합은 3건은 박물관, 전시시설, 영화상영관에서 모두 건축자재, 각종 생활용품에서 발생 가능성이 높은 폼알데하이드(HCHO) 항목이었고, 해당 시군에 통보해 개선을 위한 행정조치를 취했다.

이번 점검에서 유지기준 이내인 경우 ‘다중이용시설등의 실내공기질관리법 시행규칙’에 따라 당해 실내공기 질 자가 측정이 면제되고, 초과하는 경우 시설 소유자는 과태료 부과와 공기정화 또는 환기설비 등을 개선해야 한다.

백하주 경북도 보건환경연구원장은 “실내공기 질을 쾌적하게 유지하기 위해서는 정기적인 청소 및 에어컨, 가습기 등의 필터 교체, 친환경 건축자재, 사무용품 등을 사용해야 하고 주기적인 환기가 가장 중요하다”고 강조했다.
