【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=  대구시는 ‘2022년 도농상생 체험프로그램’을 운영할 농가 10곳을 선정해 오는 6월 11일부터 11월까지 다양한 농업체험을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 도농상생 농업체험투어 공모에 선정된 10개 농장은 감자, 옥수수, 방울토마토, 블루베리, 사과 등 우리 지역에서 생산되는 계절별 농특산물 수확 체험과 이를 활용한 가공체험 등을 진행한다.

체험은 매주 토·일요일에 1시간 30분 정도 진행되며 체험비는 1만원으로, 해당 농장을 처음 방문할 경우 시민 개인당 체험비의 50%를, 재방문할 경우에는 20%를 대구시가 지원해 인당 5천원 또는 8천원으로 체험할 수 있다.

참여방법은 대구도시농업박람회 홈페이지를 통해 농장별로 게시된 체험내용을 확인 후 관심 있는 체험을 직접 신청하고, 체험 당일 해당 농장을 방문해 참여하면 된다.

올해는 기존에 관광버스를 타고 체험농장에서 체험 후 인근 관광지를 방문하던 ‘1일 농촌체험관광’ 형식에서 벗어나, 홈페이지에 게시된 농장별 체험에 시민이 직접 참여함으로써 관광에 소요되는 비용을 줄이고 보다 많은 시민에게 농업체험 기회가 돌아갈 수 있도록 했다.

특히 체험농장 10곳을 대상으로 체험 시작 전 안전점검을 강화하고,‘농촌교육농장보험’에 가입 후 운영함으로써, 농장을 찾는 시민들에게 일어날 수 있는 만약의 사고에 대비할 계획이다.

또한 농장과 체험내용을 소개하는 포스터와 전단을 제작해 구·군 주민센터와 교육기관, 농장 등을 통해 배포하고 시민들에게 널리 홍보하여 시민들의 참여를 높인다는 계획이다.

정의관 대구시 경제국장은 “자연에서 이루어지는 농산물 수확, 가공 등 농업체험으로 시민들의 빠른 일상회복과 치유를 돕고, 지역의 청년 농부를 포함한 체험운영농가 발굴·지원으로 지역농가 활성화에도 많은 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”며 많은 시민들의 관심과 참여를 당부했다.
