학생들이 실내에서 에어컨과 선풍기 앞에 앉아 보내기보다 자연 속에서 다양한 체험활동을 통해 건강하고 즐거운 여름방학을 보낼 수 있도록 기획된 이번 프로그램은 코로나19로 2년 동안 잠시 중단됐다가 올해 여름방학을 맞아 더 재미있고 더 신나게 숲과 나무에 관심을 가질 수 있는 체험프로그램들로 구성될 예정이다.
체험프로그램은 오는 8월 2일부터 18일까지 기간 중 매주 화~목요일에 하루 단위로 운영되며, ‘어린이 여름 자연학교’는 오전 10시부터 오후 4시까지 ‘여름 가족 목공체험 교실’은 오전 10시부터 12시까지 대구수목원 목재문화체험장 내 체험실에서 진행된다.
