【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=제11회 한국여성농업인 경상북도대회가 24일 경산 실내체육관에서 ‘풍요로운 농촌의 미래! 경북 한여농과 함께'라는 주제로 개최됐다.
한국여성농업인경상북도연합회(회장 김미점)가 주관한 이날 행사는 이달희 경북도 경제부지사, 조현일 경산시장 등 주요 내빈과 지역 여성농업인 2000여명이 참석한 가운데 우수농업인 시상, 비전선포식과 함께 체육행사, 장기자랑 등 다채로운 화합행사가 펼쳐졌다.
또 회원 작품전시, 시군별 농특산물 및 수입농산물 비교 전시, 캐리커쳐·캘리그라피 등 다양한 전시·체험행사가 펼쳐졌다.
행사를 개최한 김미점 도연합회 회장은 대회사를 통해 “한여농의 단합된 모습으로 미래농업에 대한 변화를 이끌어 나갈 것이다”며, “앞으로 여성농업인의 사회경제적 지위를 높이고 가사와 영농 병행에 어려움이 없도록영농여건 개선에도 적극적인 노력을 기울이겠다”고 말했다.
이달희 경북도 경제부지사는 축사를 통해 “농촌인구의 감소, 고령화 등 어려움을 겪고 있는 농촌에 활력을 불어넣을 수 있는 주체는 여성농업인이다”며 “농업대전환을 선도하고, 지방시대를 열어 새로운대한민국을 만들어가는데 여성농업인들이 주역이 돼 달라”고 당부했다.
한편, 한국여성농업인 경상북도연합회는 한국농업경영인 배우자와 여성후계농업인으로 구성된 자주적인 협동체로서 농업경영의 합리화, 과학화및 여성농업인의 권익보호와 지위향상을 통한 복지농촌건설을 목적으로1997년 창립돼 현재 23개 시군 1만여명의 회원이 활동하고 있다.

We ask that women farmers be the main characters in making it.”
Meanwhile, the Gyeongsangbuk-do Federation of Korean Female Farmers is an independent cooperative composed of the spouses of Korean agricultural managers and female successors. Currently, there are more than 10,000 members in 23 cities and counties.
