이날 경북도에 따르면 이들 기관은 협약을 통해 모든 세대의 삶의 질을 높이고 포용국가를 실현하기 위해 저출산‧고령화 시책에 대한 정책연구 및 과제를 발굴해 선도적인 사업을 추진함에 상호 협력하기로 했다.

또 인구위기 대한민국 미래세대를 위해 전 세대 모두를 대상으로 출산과 육아, 노후만이 아니라 하나부터 백까지 균형 잡힌 인구정책을 함께 만들어 나가기로 했다.

이어 박종관 정양마을 이장이‘한 농촌마을의 유쾌한 반란’이라는 제목으로 인구감소 최전선인 작은 마을의 극복 노력 사례를 발표했다.

마을주민이 주체가 돼 어르신 학당, 마을 동아리 모임 등 세대통합 활동과 마을의 아이들을 위한 마을돌봄학교 운영, 어르신 치매예방 교실 등 어르신 공동 돌봄 운영 등 정양마을의 다양한 사례를 통해 인구감소 대응 지역의 마을 활성화 모델을 제시했다.
