【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구시는 지역 산업단지를 신산업공간으로 재도약 시키기 위해 스마트그린산단 사업을 추진한다고 14일 밝혔다.

대구시에 따르면 이를 위해 산업단지관리기관 및 민간투자기업(한화자산운용㈜)은 지난 12일 최대 3조원 규모의 민간자본을 활용해 지역의 16개 산업단지를 대상으로 2025년까지 입주기업을 지원해 1.5GW규모의 태양광 시설을 보급한다는 업무협약을 체결했다.

대구시는 친환경 산업단지로 거듭나기 위해 신규입주사와 공장 및 건축물 등에 친환경 에너지 설비의 보급을 촉진하도록 하는 내용을 산업단지 관리기본계획에 반영할 예정이다.

또 노후 산업단지의 입체적 재구조화를 통한 문화, 복지, 편의 등 거점공간으로 재탄생 시킨다는 계획이다. 

산업용지를 복합용지로 토지이용변경을 지원해 민간투자를 유도하고, LH와 대구도시개발공사 등 공기업의 자본을 활용하여 활성화 구역으로 지정 개발한다.

이를 위해 대구시는 2023년 상반기에 복합용지 개발을 위한 공모를 시행할 예정이며, 재구조화를 위한 컨설팅 지원팀도 운영한다.

특히 입주기업의 경쟁력 강화를 위해 스마트 그린산단 사업을 확대 추진한다.

현재 성서산업단지가 스마트그린산단으로 지정돼 있으며, 기업의 물류비용 절감을 위한 스마트물류플랫폼, 효율적 에너지관리로 비용을 절감할 수 있는 에너지플랫폼, 최근 대두되고 있는 안전과 관련된 통합관제플랫폼, 근로자 교육지원을 위한 스마트제조 고급인력 양성사업 등 7개 사업 610억원 규모의 사업을 추진 중이다.

2023년에도 기업지원을 위한 공정혁신 시뮬레이션 센터구축, 에너지 자급자족형 인프라 구축 등 2개 사업 435억원 규모의 신규사업 공모에 나설 예정이다.

정의관 대구시 경제국장은 “우리지역 산업단지는 노후되고 도심에 위치해 새로운 산업단지로 거듭날 필요성이 지속적으로 제기되어 왔다”며, “친환경 에너지 보급과 재구조화 등 산업단지의 환경을 개선해 도시와 어우러지고 청년 근로자를 유입할 수 있는 신산업공간으로 지속적인 혁신을 거듭해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
