29일, 영주시에 따르면 올 한해 영주세계풍기인삼엑스포 등 굵직한 국제행사와 대규모 사업들을 연달아 이뤄내면서 많은 성과를 거뒀다.

경북 북부지역에서 최초로 조성되는 국가산업단지인 영주 첨단베어링 국가산업단지 조성사업을 앞당기는 데 힘써 이제 국토부 지정 승인 단 한 단계만을 남겨두고 있다.
