9일 군에 따르면 올해 주요 사업으로 △밥쌀용 고품질 신품종 생산 및 확대보급 시범, △농가보급 수직형 스마트농장 조성, △미래형 사과 다축과원 조성 사업, △스마트농업 현장실습 및 이론교육, △단계별 가공 창업 교육을 통한 가공제품 개발·생산 지원, △친환경축산관리실 설치 등이 진행된다.

먼저 밥쌀용 고품질 신품종 생산 및 확대보급 시범은 지난 30년간 재배된 일품벼 품종을 최근육종된 미소진미, 안평과 같은 최고품질 종으로 전환해재배단지를 조성하고 지역 특화 명품화 브랜드를 개발할 예정이다.

농가보급 수직형 스마트농장 조성 사업은 생산기간 단축, 병해충 감소등 고부가가치 농산물을 생산해 농가 소득을 증대시키고 소비자들에게신선 채소를 제공하는 사업으로 신규농업인의 스마트팜 현장 실습 체험교육장으로 활용해 일자리 창출 및 농촌인구 유입 효과도 노린다.

미래형 사과 다축과원 조성 사업은 노후화된 사과원을 조기 다수확하고 노동력 및 경영비를 절감할 수 있는 과원으로 전환하는 사업으로 지난해 0.8ha 과원을 조성한 데 이어 올해는 1.6ha 과원을 조성할 계획이다.

스마트농업 테스트베드 교육장은 2억7천만 원을 들여 스마트온실 연계 노지 스마트팜을 구축해 디지털농업교육, 스마트농업 기술 실증, 대농업인 스마트팜 체험 등을 제공하고 관내 스마트팜 재배 20여 농가에현장 컨설팅과 시설 유지보수비 지원으로 지역 여건에 맞는 첨단 디지털농업 현장 확산 기반을 마련한다.

친환경농업바이오센터는 700L 대용량멸균배양기 3대, 2톤 혼합조 1대,냉각시스템 등 장비를 구축하고 미생물확대보급을 위한 기반을 마련했으며 미생물 종류별로 포장지색과 디자인을 다르게 제작·보급해 농업인들사용 편의성을 높였으며 퇴비부숙도와 시설원예작물 등에 대한 미생물수요 증가에 발맞춰 다른 시‧군과 차별화된 친환경 고품질 미생물을 확대 보급한다.

그리고 농산물가공기술지원센터는 단계별 가공 창업 교육을 통한 가공제품 개발·생산 지원과 여성일자리 창출 교육 등 분야별 공동 학습의 장으로활용해 농촌융복합 산업 기반을 구축할 예정이다.

또 초유은행은 전국에서 처음 시도되는 모델로 대량 생산시스템 및 HACCP 인증까지 가능한 생산 시설을 구축해 양질의 초유를 보급할 예정이다.

이와 함께 친환경축산관리실을 설치해 여분의 한우정액 교환, 정액활력도 측정, 항생제잔류 검사 등 다양한 방면에서 축산현장 애로사항을 과학적으로 해결해 나갈 방침이다.
