【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구시는 오는 27일부터 6월까지 공중이용시설 10개소를 대상으로 중대시민재해 예방을 위한 민간 전문가 현장 컨설팅을 시행한다고 23일 밝혔다.

이번 컨설팅은 노후하거나 시급성을 고려한 시민이 많이 찾는 안전 취약시설 10개소를 우선 선정, 시설별 특성에 맞는 분야별 전문가를 초빙해  컨설팅하고 하반기에 그 실효성을 판단 전체 시설로 확대할 방침이다.

전문가 현장 컨설팅은 토목·건축·전기·가스·소방 등 분야별 민간 전문가와 대구시 안전정책과로 구성된 민관합동컨설팅단이 안전점검 적정성과 시설물 특성별 상시점검 역량강화 교육을 위해 순회 방식으로 진행된다.

주요 컨설팅 사항은 중대재해처벌법 상 의무사항 이행, 이용자 측면 유해‧위험요인 확인 및 점검 교육,현장 특성별 교육 등이다.

대구시는 이번 컨설팅을 통해 중대시민재해 담당자가 시설관리에 대한 전문지식과 안전의무사항을 숙지하고 실천해, 한층 강화된 안전보건관리체계가 구축될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

성웅경 대구시 시민안전실장은 “이용하는 시민의 입장에서 보면 위험요인이 상시 발생한다. 그것이 중대재해로 이어질 수 있기에 평소 관리자로 있는 분들의 세심한 주의가 필요하다”며 “이중대시민재해 없는 시민이 안전한 파워풀 대구를 만들어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.
