구미시는 관리직 여성 공무원 비율 목표 초과 달성, 아픈 아이 돌봄센터 및 365 소아 청소년 진료센터 경북 최초 개소, 여성 가구 안전지킴이 우리 집 경호원 사업 등에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

한편 구미시는 이날 협약을 통해 2028년까지 ‘함께 만들어 모두가 누리는 양성평등 행복도시 구미' 구현해 나갈 계획이다.

직업훈련과 취‧창업 지원으로 여성의 경제‧사회 참여를 확대하고, 안전 취약지역을 민간기관과 연계해 ‘여성 안심마을 조성 사업’을 신규로 추진하는 등 범죄예방과 안전한 주거환경 조성에 앞장선다.

특히, 365 돌봄어린이집 확대 등 돌봄 환경을 조성해 여성이 마음 편히일하는 일‧가정양립 문화를 정착할 수 있는 사업을 지속 추진할 방침이다.
