【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)는 14일 여성친화도시에 지정돼 오는 2027년까지 여성친화도시 사업을 펼친다고 밝혔다.
여성친화도시는 지역정책 수립과 집행과정에 여성과 남성이 균형있게 참여하고 여성 역량 강화, 돌봄, 안전 증진에 노력하는 도시로 여성가족부가 매년 심사를 통해 지정하고 있다.
달서구는 성인지통계 구축, 여성과 가족관련 시설 확충 및 안심 마을 조성, 여성일자리 협의체 구성·운영, 주민의 자율적 참여와 지역자원을 활용한 민·관 협력 온마을 돌봄체계, 스마트시티 통합플랫폼을 구축하는 등 여성친화도시 기반조성을 위한 성과를 인정받았다.
또 여성들의 경력단절을 예방하고 일과 가정이 양립하는 직장문화 조성, 여성친화모니터단의 찾아가는 맞춤형 양성평등 교육, 여성1인가구 맞춤형 사업 등 인식개선을 위한 사업도 함께 추진했다.
달서구는 여성친화 5대 목표인 성평등 추진기반 구축, 여성 경제·사회 참여확대,지역사회 안전증진, 가족친화(돌봄)환경조성, 여성의 지역사회 활동역량 강화 등을 실현하기 위한 다향한 사업을 더욱 확대·강화할 예정이다
이태훈 달서구청장은 “ 앞으로도 여성·아동·노인 등 정책 약자들이 평등하게 사회에 참여하고 안전과 돌봄이 구현된 여성친화도시 환경 조성을 위해 더욱 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
