【브레이크뉴스 경북 】이성현 기자= 24일 경북 청도군 청도천 둔치에서는 ‘정월대보름 민속 한마당 행사’에 전국에서 몰려온 4만여 명의 인파가 운집한 가운데 성황리에 열렸다.
이번 행사에는 높이 20미터, 폭 13미터의 전국 최대규모의 달집이 웅장한 모습으로 관람객을 맞이했다. 특히, 올해는 2016년 이후 8년 만에 읍·면 풍물경연대회가 함께 개최되어 민속예술의 명맥을 잇고 주민결속을 다지는 의미 있는 시간으로 이어졌다.

김하수 청도군수는 “정월대보름 민속한마당 행사가 많은 분들의 참여 속에 성료되어 매우 기쁘다”라며 “특히 올해는 민속예술 농악이 8년의 기다림 끝에 풍물경연대회를 통해 그 명맥을 이어가는 뜻깊은 자리였다. 앞으로도 전통문화의 계승·발전과 민속예술의 자긍심을 높이는 데 앞장서는 청도군이 되겠다. 행사에 참여해 주신 모든 분들의 가정에 행복과 평안이 깃드는 갑진년 한 해가 되길 바란다”라고 말했다.
