【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경북테크노파크(원장 하인성, 이하 경북TP)는 지난 23일 포항 블루밸리국가산업단지에 위치한 이차전지종합관리센터에서 대구가톨릭대학교 배터리공학과와 화학공학 전공 대학생들을 대상으로, 이차전지 및 사용후 배터리의 재사용/재활용에 대한 인재양성 교육을 수행했다.

24일 경북TP에 따르면 이번 교육은 이차전지산업의 미래 신기술, 사용후 배터리의 산업화를 위한 관련 각종 규제 및 법률적 문제, 새롭게 성장하고 있는 LFP배터리 동향에 대해 학습함으로써 학문적 전문성에 현장기술을 접목할 수 있는 계기를 마련했다.

이번 방문을 통해 경북테크노파크는 경북도/포항시와 협력하여 수행하고 있는 정책사업과 현재 기획하고 있는 ‘이차전지 양극재 특화단지’ 관련 과제에 대한 정보를 제공했다.

또한 이차전지 배터리의 성능을 평가할 수 있는 연구장비의 원리 및 실기, 사용후 배터리 재사용을 위한 정책동향 및 물류흐름도, 현재 보유하고 있는 다양한 신뢰성평가를 학생들의 눈높이에 맞는 교육을 실시했다.

하인성 경북테크노파크 원장은 “이번 프로그램과 같이 이차전지 배터리 관련 생생한 산업 및 기술정보 제공을 통해 지역 대학 및 학생들과 신뢰와 협력을 지속적으로 강화해 나갈 예정”이며, “지역 인재들이 역외로 유출되지 않도록 근무환경이 우수한 기업체나 기관에 취업할 수 있도록 질 높은 정보를 제공함으로써 지역발전의 밑거름이 되도록 최선의 노력을 하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 경북테크노파크는 포항시 블루밸리산업단지 내 ‘이차전지종합관리센터’를 2021년 8월 완공, 2022년 환경부로부터 ‘전기차 사용후 배터리 인라인 자동평가 설비 구축사업’을 수주, 2023년 4월부터 2025년 12월까지 산업부로부터 ‘고안전 보급형 리튬인산철 배터리 상용화 기반구축사업’을 수주하여 보급형 LFP 배터리 산업발전에 기여하고 있는 등 다양한 국책과제를 수주하여 지역 중소기업의 연구개발을 적극 지원하고 있다.

특히 ‘전기차 사용후 배터리 인라인 자동평가 설비 구축사업’을 통하여 현재 배터리 성능평가에 10시간 걸리는 수작업을 자동화하여 20분 미만으로 평가하는 대량/고속 평가시스템을 세계 최초로 구비하여 사용후 배터리 재사용을 위한 공장형 인프라를 갖출 것으로 기대하고 있다.

  Meanwhile, Gyeongbuk Techno Park will complete the 'Secondary Battery Comprehensive Management Center' in the Blue Valley Industrial Complex in Pohang City in August 2021, and receive an order for the 'Electric Vehicle Post-Use Battery Inline Automatic Evaluation Facility Construction Project' from the Ministry of Environment in 2022, from April 2023 to 2025.
