【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항시의회 건설도시위원회(위원장 김철수)는 22일 내연산보경사시립공원 내 자연학습장 조성현장과 내연산 치유의 숲 시설을 방문해 주요사업에 대한 점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

내연산보경사시립공원 내 자연학습장은 2013년 공원계획으로 결정 고시됐으며, 이후 실시설계용역 및 관련부서 협의를 거쳐 2023년 4월에 착공해 2025년 3월 공사준공을 목표로 현재까지 사업이 추진 중이다.

내연산 치유의 숲은 55.6ha 면적에 총사업비 46억원으로 건강증진실, 체험실 등 치유센터시설과 치유의숲을 조성하여, 2021년 준공이후 매년 많은 방문객이 찾고 있으며, 올해 10월 기준으로 2,000여명이 시설을 이용했다.

이날 위원회에서는 각 현장을 방문해 사업현황, 시설물현황에 대한 보고를 받고 사업추진에 따른 문제점과 대책, 시설물 이용편의를 위한 개선방향에 대해 논의했다.

김철수 위원장은“현장점검을 통해 파악된 당면현안사항에 대한 개선대책을 마련하여 사업이 원만하게 추진 되도록 하고, 아울러 치유의 숲을 이용하는 시민들이 불편함이 없도록 서비스 향상과 시설물 유지관리에 철저를 기하도록 당부했다”고 밝혔다.
