【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 지역특화 청년무역전문가양성사업단(GTEP사업단)은 3월 3일부터 6일까지 스페인 바르셀로나에서 열린 Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2025(MWC 2025) 전시회에 참가했다고 밝혔다.
MWC 2025는 세계 최대 규모의 모바일 기술 전시회로, 이번 전시회의 중심 주제는 **인공지능(AI)**이며, 2,780개 글로벌 기업이 참가했다. 한국은 스페인, 미국, 중국에 이어 네 번째로 많은 187개 기업이 참가하며, 5G, 차세대 통신 기술 등의 최신 기술을 선보이고 있다. 이 행사에서는 다양한 혁신적인 제품과 서비스를 경험할 수 있었다.
동국대학교 GTEP사업단은 이번 전시회에서 Bremen이라는 한국 기업과 사전 MOU를 체결하고, 무역 마케팅 활동을 지원했다. GTEP 19기 중에서 선발된 두 명의 학생, 글로벌경제통상학부 4학년 김민성 학생과 항공서비스무역학과 3학년 김기범 학생이 참가하여 무역 실무 경험을 쌓았다.
김민성 학생은 “세계적인 IT 전시회에 참가하게 되어 매우 설렘과 기대가 크며, 최신 기술 트렌드를 배우고 다양한 기업과 소통하며 글로벌 비즈니스 감각을 키워갈 것이다”라고 소감을 밝혔다. 김기범 학생은 “기업의 성과를 돕기 위해 최선을 다하고, 다양한 바이어들과 소통하며 무역 전문가로 성장할 것이다”라고 전했다.
정성훈 교수, GTEP사업단장은 “GTEP 사업단은 이론 중심 교육에 무역 실무지식과 현장 체험을 접목해, 맞춤형 인재 양성을 목표로 한다. 학생들이 협력 기업의 발굴부터 마케팅 전 과정을 수행하며 무역전문가로서의 능력을 키우고 있다”고 말했다.
GTEP 사업단은 산업통상자원부와 한국무역협회의 지원을 받아, 대학생들을 대상으로 480시간 이상의 교육 및 실습을 제공하여 무역전문가로 성장할 수 있도록 돕고 있다. 이 사업은 지역 중소기업의 수출입·전시 마케팅과 전자상거래를 지원하며, 지역 내수기업 및 수출 초보 기업의 해외 시장 진출 확대를 목표로 한다.

Dongguk University WISE Campus GTEP Business Group Participates in MWC 2025 Exhibition
Dongguk University WISE Campus Regional Specialization Youth Trade Expert Training Business Group (GTEP Business Group) announced that it participated in the Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2025 (MWC 2025) exhibition held in Barcelona, Spain from March 3 to 6.
MWC 2025 is the world's largest mobile technology exhibition, and the main theme of this exhibition is **Artificial Intelligence (AI)**, and 2,780 global companies participated. Korea is the fourth largest company after Spain, the United States, and China, with 187 companies participating, showcasing the latest technologies such as 5G and next-generation communication technology. At this event, various innovative products and services were experienced.
Dongguk University GTEP Business Group signed a preliminary MOU with a Korean company called Bremen at this exhibition and supported trade marketing activities. Two students selected from the 19th GTEP, Kim Min-seong, a 4th-year student in the Department of Global Economics and Trade, and Kim Ki-beom, a 3rd-year student in the Department of Aviation Service Trade, participated and gained practical trade experience.
Kim Min-seong said, “I am very excited and looking forward to participating in the global IT exhibition. I will learn the latest technology trends, communicate with various companies, and develop a global business sense.” Kim Ki-beom said, “I will do my best to help companies achieve their goals, communicate with various buyers, and grow as a trade expert.”
Professor Jeong Seong-hun, head of the GTEP division, said, “The GTEP division aims to foster customized talent by combining theory-centered education with trade practice knowledge and field experience. Students are developing their abilities as trade experts by carrying out the entire process from finding partner companies to marketing.”
With support from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea International Trade Association, the GTEP division provides more than 480 hours of education and training to college students to help them grow into trade experts. This project supports export/import/exhibition marketing and e-commerce of local small and medium-sized enterprises, and aims to expand overseas market entry of local domestic companies and export novice companies.
