수시모집 정원 내 모집인원을 2025학년도 93.4%에서 2026학년도 94.0%, 1,642명으로 높이는 수시모집 중점 입시 전략을 세웠다

 또한 의학계열(한의예과, 의예과, 간호학과)을 제외한 모든 모집단위에서 전형 유형별로 최대 6회까지 가능하도록 문호를 넓혔고, 수능최저학력기준도 적용하지 않는다.

 학생부위주(교과)에서 학생부 교과 100%로 선발하는 ▲교과전형은 925명, ▲불교추천인재전형은 41명, ▲지역인재(교과)전형은 48명, ▲지역인재(경북-교과)전형은 24명, ▲교과성적 외 면접점수를 30% 반영하는 면접전형은 244명을 모집한다. 학생부위주(종합)에서는 ▲참사람 전형으로 179명, ▲지역인재(종합)전형으로 32명 ▲지역인재(경북-종합)전형으로 11명, 총 222명을 선발한다. 수능최저학력기준의 경우 전형에 관계없이 의학계열(한의예과, 의예과, 간호학과) 지원시에만 적용한다.

 수시모집 최초합격자 발표는 2025년 11월 7일(수능최저 미적용), 2025년 12월 12일(수능최저 적용)로 예정되어 있다.

 수시모집 정원내 전형 최초 합격자에게 장학금 100만원, 충원1차 합격자는 50만원을 지급하며 불교추천인재전형 입학자 전원에게 100만원의 장학금을 지급하고 정원 내 전형 입학자 중 경주/포항/울산지역 고교졸업자에게는 1학년 2학기에 추가로 100만원을 지급한다.(한의예과, 의예과 제외). 또한 불교학부(불교학전공, 불교문화콘텐츠전공) 입학자는 입학성적에 따라 수업료 기준 최대 100%에서 최소 50%의 장학금을 지급한다.
