양 기관은  4월 29일 , 지능형 IoT 부품산업 분야의 첨단 연구장비를 활용한 실질적 체험 학습 기회를 제공하고, 지역 특화 인재 양성을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.

경북테크노파크에 따르면 이번 협약을 통해 양측은 ▲지역 산업 수요에 부합하는 미래 인재 육성 ▲현장 중심의 첨단 장비 실습 및 체험 프로그램 운영 ▲신기술 기반 기술 교육 제공 ▲첨단 장비의 활용도 제고 등을 위해 상호 협력하기로 했다.

정미경 영천전자고 교장은 “학생들에게 새로운 기술을 직접 체험할 수 있는 기회를 제공함으로써 미래 산업에 대한 이해를 높이고, 실질적인 진로 설계에 도움이 되길 바란다”고 기대감을 전했다.

하인성 경북테크노파크 원장도 “지역 산업의 지속 가능성은 청년 인재의 성장에 달려 있다”며 “학생들이 실제 산업 현장과 유사한 환경에서 실무 능력을 키울 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

이번 협약은 지역 교육기관과 산업계가 손잡고 실천하는 실질적 인재 육성 모델로 평가받고 있으며, 향후 지역 산업과 인재를 잇는 가교 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.
