경북스마트제조혁신센터는 올해 총 156억 원 규모의 예산을 투입해 △정부 일반형 스마트공장(108억 원) △디지털 클러스터(41.8억 원) △자율형 스마트공장(2억 원) △K-스마트등대공장(4억 원) △스마트제조 R&D(1억 원) 등 다양한 분야에 걸쳐 중소 제조기업의 스마트화를 전방위로 지원해왔다.
특히, 전국 테크노파크(TP) 중 유일하게 ‘자율형 공장 기획기관’으로 지정되어 ㈜세원E&I, 한텍 등 지역 기업에 맞춤형 컨설팅과 전주기적 사업 관리를 제공해 스마트공장 선도모델을 구축하는 실질적인 성과를 이뤄냈다.

한편, 경북스마트제조혁신센터는 그간의 혁신 성과를 바탕으로 ODA 연계사업에도 참여하여 120억 원 규모의 국비를 확보, 우즈베키스탄 디지털제조기술센터 건립 사업을 통해 국내 공급기업의 해외 진출 기반도 마련했다.

This year, the Gyeongbuk Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center has invested a total budget of KRW 15.6 billion to comprehensively support the smart transformation of small and medium-sized manufacturing companies across various sectors, including: 10.8 billion won for government-funded smart factories, 4.18 billion won for digital clusters, 200 million won for autonomous smart factories, 400 million won for K-Smart Lighthouse Factories, and 100 million won for smart manufacturing R&D.
In particular, as the only "autonomous factory planning agency" among national technoparks (TPs), it has achieved tangible results by providing customized consulting and full-cycle project management to local companies such as Sewon E&I and Hantech, establishing a leading smart factory model.
Furthermore, to lay the foundation for expansion at the city/county level, the center secured a total of KRW 5.21 billion (KRW 2.24 billion in basic support and KRW 2.97 billion in corporate burden relief) through local government-linked budgets.
