【브레이크뉴스 칠곡】이성현 기자=경북과학대학교(총장 정은재)는 지난 16일 키르기즈스탄 국제대학교 총장단이 대학을 방문해 양 대학 간 상호 교류 협약을 체결하고 구체적인 협력 방안을 논의했다고 밝혔다.

이날 협약식에는 경북과학대 정은재 총장을 비롯해 김용호 입학취업처장, 최길용 국제교류처장이 참석했으며, 키르기즈스탄 국제대학교에서는 아사노프 세이텍 알리예비치 총장과 카디랄리예프 알마즈 톡토베코비치 부총장이 자리했다.

양 대학은 이날 협약을 통해 학생 및 교직원 교류를 비롯해 공동 학술·연구 프로젝트 추진, 교재 개발 및 교과과정 공동 운영 등 포괄적인 협력 체계를 구축하기로 합의했다. 특히 교환학생 프로그램 운영, 공동 세미나와 워크숍 개최, 양국 산업 현장과 연계한 실습·인턴십 기회 확대 등 실질적인 교육·연구 협력 강화에 중점을 뒀다.

협약 체결 이후 방문단은 경북과학대가 운영 중인 대학 식품공장을 견학하며, 현장 중심의 직업교육 시스템과 실무 연계 교육 환경을 살펴봤다.

정은재 총장은 “그동안 중국, 미국, 베트남 등 여러 국가 대학과의 교류 협정 경험을 바탕으로 중앙아시아 지역인 키르기즈스탄까지 국제 협력 네트워크를 확장하게 돼 의미가 크다”며 “이번 협약을 통해 중앙아시아 대학과의 교류 거점을 새롭게 확보하고, 실질적인 성과로 이어질 수 있도록 협력을 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Kyungpook National University of Science and Technology (President Eun-jae Jeong) announced that on the 16th, a delegation of presidents from Kyrgyzstan International University visited the university to sign a mutual exchange agreement and discuss specific cooperation plans.

After signing the agreement, the delegation toured the university food factory operated by Kyungpook National University of Science and Technology, observing its field-oriented vocational education system and practical training environment.

President Eun-jae Jeong stated, "Building on our experience in exchange agreements with universities in various countries, including China, the United States, and Vietnam, this expansion of our international cooperation network to Kyrgyzstan, a Central Asian region, is significant. Through this agreement, we will secure a new hub for exchanges with Central Asian universities and strengthen our cooperation to achieve tangible results."
