설명회는 1월 20일 오후 1시 30분, 경상북도선거관리위원회(정부경북지방합동청사) 2층 강당에서 열리는 경상북도지사 및 교육감선거 예비후보자 입후보설명회를 시작으로, 2월 6일까지 도내 23개 시‧군선거관리위원회가 각기 지정한 시간과 장소에서 진행된다.
