한민정 위원장은 “사안의 중대성을 감안해 개인 핸드폰번호로 직접 제보를 받는다”며 “제보된 내용에 대해서는 중앙당 특별위원회, 심상정 국회의원실과 협의해 경찰수사의뢰 등 문제해결을 위해 노력할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

아울러 같은 날 진보당 대구시당은 기자회견을 통해 LH 전·현직 임직원들의 투기 의혹 해명과 전수조사를 촉구하였으며 대구경제정의실천시민연합은 대구도시공사 시행 개발사업 관련 투지 등 비리 제보 창구를 개설·운영 계획을 밝히는 등 지역 곳곳에서 공공기관 관련 부동산 투기 의혹 해소 요구가 빗발치고 있다.
