대구시와 (재)대구창조경제혁신센터(센터장 이재일), 경북대학교(총장 홍원화)가 초기창업패키지 지원사업을 2년 연속 추진하며 스타트업 기업에 최대 1억 원을 지원한다.

초기창업패키지 지원 사업은 유망 창업아이템 및 고급기술을 보유한 창업 3년 이내 기업을 대상으로 시제품 제작, 지식재산권 취득, 마케팅 등에 소요되는 사업화 자금 및 특화프로그램을 지원하여 초기창업기업의 안정화와 성장을 돕는 사업이다.

대구창조경제혁신센터와 경북대학교는 지난해에 이어 올해도 시비 4억원을 포함 총 44억 원을 투입해 초기창업기업 42개사에 기업당 평균 7,000만원, 최대 1억 원까지 지원한다. 

또한 선정된 창업기업의 성공적인 사업화를 위해 맞춤형 컨설팅을 지원하는 등 지역 내 창업 분위기 조성을 통한 지역 창업활성화를 계속해서 이끌어 나갈 예정이다.

특히 올해 사업의 경우 대구창조경제혁신센터는 지역 전략산업 5+1(에너지·미래형자동차·물·의료·로봇+스마트시티) 분야의 유망 창업기업을 집중 선발해 창업기업의 기술사업화는 물론 맞춤형 판로연계, 투자유치 지원, 원스톱 상담 창구 운영 등 초기창업기업의 성장 및 창업 활성화를 위해 더욱 박차를 가한다는 계획이다.

경북대는 현 코로나 상황에 맞춰 온택트(Ontact) 마케팅과 온라인 투자 IR데모데이 프로그램을 확대 운영하고 인플루언서를 활용한 제품 시연 및 라이브 방송, 오픈마켓 등 온라인으로 아이템 판매를 진행하는 등 전년도와 차별화된 프로그램을 지원한다.
