【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구대학교 교원양성과정 개선대학 지원사업단(단장 백상수)과 경북대학교 AIEDAP 경북권역 사업지원단(단장 장정호)이 예비 교원의 AI·디지털 역량 강화를 위해 손을 맞잡았다고 18일 밝혔다.

지난 12일 양 대학은 대구대 경산캠퍼스 성산홀 16층 회의실에서 상호 협력을 통한 교육과정 혁신과 지역사회 발전을 목표로 협약을 체결했다.

협약 내용은 ▶AI·디지털 교육 역량 강화를 위한 연수 공동 운영 및 교육 과정 개발 ▶지역사회 연계 교육 과정 운영 ▶전문가 인적 교류 체계 구축 등이다.

이와 함께 AIEDAP 사업지원단 소속 마스터교원 활용 및 예비교원 연수 프로그램과 연계 등을 통해 지역 교원들이 변화하는 교육 환경에 대비할 수 있도록 지원할 방침이다.

AIEDAP(아이에답, AI EDucation Alliance & Policy lab)은 우리나라 교육부와 시도교육청, 대학이 협력해 미래 교육과 디지털 혁신을 위해 예비·현직 교원들의 AI·디지털 역량을 강화하고자 만든 민·관·학 종합 지원 체계를 말한다. 

대구대 사범대학 백상수 학장은 “예비 교원의 AI와 디지털 역량을 강화하여 미래 교육에 필요한 인재를 양성하는 기반을 마련하겠다”며 “두 사업단이 함께 지역의 교육사회를 선도하고 바꾸어 나가기를 희망한다”고 말했다. 

경북대 사범대학 AIEDAP 경북 권역 사업지원단 장정호 단장은 “양 교의 사범대학간 교류가 확대되기를 기원한다”며 “교육 현장에 실질적인 도움이 되는 협력 방안을 지속적으로 논의할 수 있기를 바란다”고 밝혔다.
