【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=경북대학교 학생 182명이 윤석열 대통령 퇴진을 요구하는 시국선언에 동참했다.

3일 낮 12시 경북대학교 북문 앞에서 ‘민주주의를 요구하는 경북대학교 대학생 모임’의 시국선언 발표 및 기자회견이 열렸다.

‘민주주의를 요구하는 경북대학교 대학생 모임’은 경북대 김상천, 노준엽, 이채은 학생 등이 지난달 19일 교수 및 연구자들의 시국선언 직후 발족한 학생모임이다.

이들은 “윤석열 2년 반, 민주주의가 다시 첫 번째 과제가 되어버렸다”며 “부정하고 무능한 대통령에 우리의 미래를 맡길 수 없다”고 선언했다.

그러면서 “지금부터라도 우리의 미래를 윤석열 정부로부터 지켜야 한다”며 “선을 넘은 윤석열 정부의 부정과 무능, 멈출 방법은 퇴진 뿐이다”고 강조했다.

이번 시국선언을 최초 제안한 윤리교육과 김상천 학생은 “가만히 있으면 바뀌는 것은 없다”며 “시국선언을 계기 삼아 윤석열 퇴진으로, 윤석열 퇴진을 계기삼아 우리 삶의 문제를 해결해야한다”고 말했다.

사회학과 최선율 학생, 사회학과 강지원 학생, 사학과 황보영조 교수가 윤석열 대통령 퇴진을 촉구하는 발언을 이어갔고 사회학과 이채은 학생이 시국선언문을 낭독했다.

이와 함께 학생들의 서명이 들어있는 대자보 게시 퍼포먼스가 진행됐다. 시국선언에 연서명한 경북대 학생은 총 182명이다.
