【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=  대구시와 (재)대구창조경제혁신센터는 오는 3월 9일까지 ‘대구시 민간투자 연계형 기술사업화 지원사업’을 추진하기 위한 민간 운영사를 모집한다고 21일 밝혔다.

대구시 민선 8기의 중점 육성 산업 ‘ABB 분야’ 중심의 지역 발전 및 경제 활성화 전략에 따라, 해당 분야 유망 기술 스타트업을 민간 운영사와 함께 발굴하고 스케일 업을 지원한다.

이 사업은 민·관 협업 벤처 투자 생태계 조성으로 각광받고 있는 중기부 TIPS를 벤치마킹해 지역에 맞는 대구형 TIPS 모델로 운영한다. 

민간 운영사(VC 등)가 유망 기업들을 발굴해 민간자금 1억 원 이상 선 투자를 시행하고, 대구시는 이들 중 우수기업을 선정해 2023년 최대 2억 원, 2024년 최대 2억 5천만 원 매칭 사업비를 지원하게 된다.

사업 규모는 2023년~2024년까지 2차년 연속 사업으로 총 39억 원 규모로 추진 예정이며 대구 내 본사를 두거나 이전 예정인 7년 미만 ABB 분야 창업기업을 대상으로 지역 기업 10개사를 선정해 지원할 예정이다.

지원은 1:1 맞춤 기업 컨설팅, 밋업데이, IR 데모데이, 글로벌 진출 지원, 한국거래소 KSM 등록 지원 등 기업이 성장할 수 있는 다양한 전문 프로그램들도 함께 지원한다.

대구창조경제혁신센터는 본 사업에서 활동할 민간운영사(액셀러레이터, 투자사 등)를 모집하고 있으며 대구창업허브홈페이지 공고를 통해 신청 자격, 우대사항, 제출서류 등을 확인할 수 있고 우편 또는 직접 방문을 통해 신청할 수 있다.
