【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구 동구청(구청장 윤석준)이 클린업 배달음식점 육성·지원사업을 추진한다고 20일 밝혔다.

이번 지원사업은 배달 소비자 신뢰도 제고와 외식산업의 식품안전관리 강화를 위해 마련됐다.

 위생에 취약한 배달음식점을 대상으로 주방환경을 개선하는 사업이며, 2020년부터 시작해 2022년까지 310개 업소가 사업에 선정돼 주방시설 소독·청소, 주방문화개선 컨설팅 및 주방 배기후드·덕트 청소를 지원 받았다.

올해는 위생․안전 사각지대 해소를 위해 배달앱 등록 음식점 전수 식품안전관리 사전계도 활동을 추진하며, 찌든 기름때로 화재발생 우려가 크고 위생이 취약한 주방 배기후드 및 덕트에 대한 청소를 집중 지원해  주방환경 개선에 앞장설 예정이다.

신청 대상은 동구 소재한 1년 이상 된 배달음식점으로, 25개 정도를 모집한다.

오는 5월 12일까지 방문, 우편, 팩스, E메일 등으로 신청 받으며 선정은 서류 및 현장심사로 진행되고 소규모 영세업소, 장기 운영업소, 참여의지가 높은 업소를 우선 선정한다.

사업에 선정되면 전문 청소업체가 현장을 사전 진단해 주방 배기후드와 덕트 청소를 실시하며 업소별 50만원 상당의 청소비용 중 90%를 지원 받고 10%업소 자부담으로 진행 된다. 

동구청은 주방환경개선과 더불어 위생관리 우수 업소에 대한 안심배달음식점을 발굴 지정하여 지정표지판, 위생용품 등 인센티브를 제공 할 계획이다.

윤석준 동구청장은 “배달음식점 위생문제가 대두되는 시점에서 우리 구에서도 배달음식점 주방환경 개선지원을 하여 구민들에게 안전한 먹거리를 제공하고 또 고물가, 고금리로 어려운 시기에 외식업계 종사자들에게 활력을 충전하여 성장기반의 토대가 되길 바란다.”고 말했다.
