지원 대상은 대구에 거주하는 신혼부부로 2020년 이후 ‘주택도시기금 신혼부부 전용 전세자금’ 대출상품의 신규 혹은 추가 계약자다.

다른 지역에서 대구로 전입하는 경우 3개월 이내 주민등록지를 대구 내 임차주택 주소지로 이전하면 신청 자격이 주어진다. 

지원금은 은행에 납입한 총 이자액 범위 내에서 자녀 수에 따라 최대 1.6%까지 차등 산정되며 기본 2년, 최장 6년까지 지원한다. 

지원 신청은 이번 달부터 인터넷 ‘우리둥지대구’에서 수시 접수하며, 지원 대상으로 확정된 신청자는 지원금 청구 기간인 5월 1일부터 15일, 11월 1일부터 15일 사이에 지원금을 청구하면 된다. 

기존 지원 대상자 중 2년이 지나 대출 연장을 한 경우에는 새롭게 지원 신청을 하여야 한다.

조경선 대구시 청년여성교육국장은 “대구시에서 추진 중인 ‘신혼부부 전세자금 대출이자 지원 사업’이 꾸준한 관심 속에서 올해도 계속된다”며 “주거비 부담으로 결혼과 출산을 미루는 예비부부 혹은 신혼부부들에게 의미 있는 도움이 될 것"이라고 밝혔다.
