【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구 중구(구청장 류규하)는 관내 음식점을 이용하는 소비자의 편의증진 및 영업자 부담 경감을 위해 음식점 시설개선 지원사업을 추진한다고 2일 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 영업신고 후 6개월이 경과된 일반음식점, 휴게음식점, 제과점을 대상으로 노후 화장실 개선, 좌식테이블 입식형 교체 등 시설개선비용의 70%(최대 400만원)을 지원한다.
오는 8일부터 28일까지 공모를 통한 신청·접수 및 현장 평가 후 연간매출액, 영업기간, 시설개선의 시급성 등을 고려하여 위원회 심의를 거쳐 사업을 시행할 계획이다.
단 호프, 소주방 등 주점 형태의 음식점 및 프랜차이즈 업소와 최근 1년 내 식품위생법 위반으로 행정처분을 받은 업소 등은 지원대상에서 제외 되며, 자세한 사항은 중구청 홈페이지 공고문을 통해 확인할 수 있다.
류규하 중구청장은 “이번 사업을 통해 관내 음식점 이용객들의 편의증진은 물론 노후 시설개선이 필요하나 경영난으로 시설개선이 어려웠던 영세 영업자에 실질적 자금을 지원함으로써 외식산업 활성화에 도움이 되길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
